I attended her fundraiser and had a good time discussing what she wants to do to help Howard County. Given the chance, I am definitely looking forward to working with her on the county council.

County Council Legislative Session Tonight!
Interested in learning the approach the County Council will take in discussion of CB21-2018; which is about mulch and fungal spores causing potential health hazards to Howard County residents.

County Council: Legislative Public Hearing
Attended the meeting and had a chance to talk to a couple of interesting people, one of which was Khiem Doan a member of the Howard County local children's board, about different issues that he feels needs to be addressed in the school system. One of those issues dsicussed was the amount of our school students smoking electronic cigarettes and how we can present the health risks accompanying vaping. I am looking forward to continue working with him to educate our students.

Friends of Bridge Columbia.
Had a meeting this week with the Friends of Bridge Columbia committee, of which I am a member, as we are preparing the letter to the county on the priority transportation project. Also, we are looking forward to the official opening of the geodesic pedestrian bridge. We are glad to see our efforts come to fruition.
